ULTRAPURE WATER

Ultrapure Water is obtained by passing Highly Purified Water F.U. through ultrapurification plants, bottled under a sterile hood, to achieve a high degree of purity. Through each treatment, residual water contaminants are further reduced.

It is, in fact, a type of water that has been purified to a high level of specification, i.e. water that has not been contaminated by external agents (pathogens and chemicals) that can affect its fundamental values. Ultra-pure water is an essential reagent whose level of purification makes it a versatile and essential resource in high-sensitivity applications.

However, its composition makes it rather unstable, as this is not its normal state. In fact, when it comes into contact with impurities and minerals (organic and inorganic compounds) it tries to absorb them into its structure. It is, therefore, important to pay attention to its storage in order to minimise the risk of contamination.
